Only A Fool

Only a fool would attempt such a task, 

to write of God’s love that forever lasts 

The love of a woman can encompass your heart

while our Saviors’ love sets eternities start.

So well take it slow, like our first date we go,

Excited we meet, remember it’s slow we must keep.

Try as I might, I am overwhelmed at your sight.

Your eyes are so pure, your gaze on me secure

I am completely undone, as I stand before the Son

I have nowhere to go as tears begin to flow.

I wasn’t ready for this, of loves comfort and bliss,

My trembling heart, says please don’t depart.

All night in my dreams, I held you it seams

Then comes the dawn of a new day

Love had not gone ....It was here to stay.
