JESUS you would leave the 90 and 9
To rescue the perishing LAMB every time

You set this up so I could learn
The way to SHEPHARD until You Return

As MY FATHER has sent ME
In the same way YOU are to go

I’ll never LEAVE you nor FORSAKE you
It’s MY Covenant Relationship --- I Pledged YOU long ago

I return the LOST Lamb to the 90 and 9

Totaling 100 SHEEP all healthy every time
If YOU Follow this Pattern --- You’ll do just fine
Returning MY LOST SHEEP to the 90 and 9

I’m puzzled in HEART to do it that way

While I Watched YOU one day --- Leave the 90 and 9 ---
As another young LAMB began to stray
